Pictured below are variants of Sam Llyod's 15 Puzzle in which the the puzzle forms a picture instead of a sequence of numbers. In the first, one must arrange the tiles to form a map of the United States. In the second, you must reconstruct Jolly ol' St. Nick. The last is an interesting variant in which one must reconstruct a drawing by the famed artist M. C. Escher.
